That's so neat, I just noticed the "leave a comment" is in Spanish! Very cool feature.

Yes, I do believe in destiny and I think it is very powerful that you were able to tap into what life had in store for you. I blindly find my path, but it's definitely there waiting for me. I truly believe that it was no accident that Chris and I went to Greece together and that he became a part of my life exactly when I needed him most.

True. My sister used the story about the shoes for her toast during our wedding.
It's a good story, and just one of the many esoteric signs we both experienced when we came together. It's been a while now and you tend to forget, but the beginning of my relationship with Joey was so full of "magic".

These visualization exercises are actually pretty cool... And I must say: very powerful. I wish I could truly share the recount of the few I've done with you, because every one has been so relevant in my life. Every one has taught me something very important at the time when I most needed it.

In this particular one, the main point was: <em>Go and take on your adventure</em> [MBA overseas]. <em>Your family</em> [husband and children] <em>and your home already exist in a certain point of time. You will get there. Never doubt this</em>.... See... I didn't know it, but that was my biggest concern before leaving: I was afraid that leaving home could interfere with the destiny of my family, and finding my "soul mate".

But unfortunately, translating all this is a huge effort.

No love at first sight? I have to admit that I didn't try to read the story since I've been blessed with hearing it live. :)

HA! HA!
I'm not even sure I understand what a "dribble spurt" might be. I'm not familiar with either of the words, and from the definitions on the dictionary, they even seem contradictory (?).

I love <cite>"The shot us salio by the butt"</cite>. Literal translations are just too funny!

This actually is a different post. It talks about what happened from the time I made the decision to go to Business School, until the time I actually went. One of those days, I did one of my visualizations to "see my future", and the funny thing is that some of the things I saw there actually happened. But the most interesting one is that I saw the shoes of the guy I'd marry, and I was told sort of when I would meet him. From that day on, every guy I met, I'd check to see his shoes. When I met Joey I was not attracted to him at all, so I made an exception and didn't bother to see if he had the right shoes or not, until our first date.

So, not being of a spanish speaking ability, I took the first few of your paragraphs into AltaVista's Babel Fish application (translator). I sort of figured that this is the same posting you put up the other day about how you came to be in the U.S. and marry Joey. However, I thought the translation of the second paragraph was quite funny. Here's what I got back:

"The greater ghost of my affection I send great signals of smoke, some of which of course they moved the floor to me. But in the end everything I finish in a long dribble spurt when it told me that it finished becoming jumbled with a new fiancèe. The shot us salio by the butt: Days before, it had spoken to me of her requesting my opinion to me. I suspected that I could be trying to remove some loving confession to me, but our relation always had been so careful, and their feelings by my were so difficult to decipher, that I finally said to him that became jumbled with her. And thus it did it."

The part that got me was the "dribble spurt." Thought you'd find it humourous as well!
