    Interesting that she liked this. Children supposedly are more attracted to bright colors. I wouldn’t say this one is bright — though there’s some yellow in it — but maybe the contrast is coming to the rescue.

    This is the first piece on the playground that she noticed and wanted me to “make big.” Children often do like human faces. Babies immediately love to explore different faces… You’re right though, contrast is also an early gift for kids.
