Panography

Have been wanting to do one of these since I first saw them. If this interests you, here are a lot more –and better– panographies from others.
The first thing I thought of when I saw this was this video of Microsoft’s “Photosynth” software, which can map photos onto 3D terrains.
The video shows some pretty neat stuff, you’d probably get a kick out of it.
Coolio! Wonder if somebody has any of these 3D models online…
Thanks for sharing. When I first saw the little square thumbnail on the first page, I thought it was an abstracted excercise in creating mountain peaks. This is cool too though.:)
