Mafe Maria: Personal stories by autism parent mentor, Maria Stultz

Hey!

Who remembers Joaquin’s challenge transitioning from parents to others in the playroom?

This is the second time he’s going to play with Aaron, and I love his spontaneous hey!, how relaxed and smily he looks as he watches both guys talk, and how he walks—pushes—Joey out of the room.

Also here, Aaron tests Kiki’s tolerance for physical interaction; something that ATCA facilitators noticed as a challenge one year ago.
