Joaquin’s Singing Course
About a month ago, I purchased Aaron Anastasi’s Superior Singing Method. I was discovering the music of Les Miserables and felt very motivated to learn to sing better; I wanted to rock songs like Empty Chairs at Empty Tables in the solitude of my kitchen.
As I started doing the vocal exercises in my free time, Joaquin became interested and started to participate with me. He loves the daily familiar routine, the fact that every day you get a new exercise, and our conversations about how I feel about each exercise. By now the bollo has become my coach, prompting me every day to do the vocal lessons. He does several of the exercises along with me, and recently has started designing his own vocal exercises and recording instructions in the same format used by Aaron. Every time I overhear what he’s doing, it cracks me up.
So, inspired by Aaron Anastasi’s Superior Singing Method, Joaquin presents his own singing course. I am being required to watch lessons and do vocal exercises for both courses every day (check out those beautiful gestures, by the way!)
